Ghostwriting with me is a unique experience.
I believe that writing a novel should be fun and creative, so I don’t take myself too seriously. I do, however, take the process and deadlines very seriously, working toward one ultimate goal: Making your book the absolute best it can possibly be.
I want our collaboration to put you at ease.
I know that not every writer needs the same, cookie-cutter approach, so I’m flexible and fun to work with. If you’d like to stay on top of the entire process, I’m happy to write in Google Docs, so that you can see each word as it’s being written. If you already have an outline and would rather me just run with it, I can do that, too. I’m here to work with you at every stage of the process, to make this as fun and easy as possible!
A tiny bit about me.
I’m Cyn—the author of 9 novels (Random House, Sourcebooks, Harlequin) and ghostwriter of over 100 novels, many which have become NYT, USAT, or Amazon bestsellers! I have such diverse reading tastes, and writing tastes as well! If it’s fiction, I’ve written it, and love it.

I’m so excited to help you bring your story to life!
I take on only 1-2 projects a month, and I only accept your project if I think I can do your work justice. If I don’t think the story suits me or that I can deliver what you’re looking for, I can help suggest colleagues that may be more suitable for the project.
Every project is different, but these are the main steps:
Contact me and give me a little bit of an idea as to the scope of your project, proposed length, where you are in planning, and what your goals are. During this time I can answer any questions and give you suggestions, and discuss timeframe. I’ll then provide you with a detailed quote.
I’ll provide you an NDA and contract, or if you have your own, you can provide it to me, so we can square that away beforehand. I’ll also let you know a projected start-time, as I usually book several months out. I require a 10% non-refundable deposit (payable via paypal) to hold a place in my schedule.
I will contact you a couple weeks prior to start, to remind you to get any supporting materials to me. I may ask you to give me a list of books you’re hoping to match with voice or tone. If you’ve written your own book and want me to emulate that voice, I may ask you to send me it to me electronically, so I can get a feel for how you write. At that time, a 40% deposit will be due.
Now, time for the really fun stuff! I draft your plan and how your book will take shape, and we iron out the plot.
Once we’ve finalized the book, I will write your story in your voice (or the voice of any author you choose), sending you updates as you request.
When I deliver the finished manuscript, usually within 1-2 months, the final 50% will be due. I will also recommend a list of outside editors, because though I do edit the novel before I send to you, it’s always a good idea to get another set of eyes on it.
